philip: Check your strength on all the muxes, because its possible you have a problem with your system, but whilse the other muxes are just hanging on, those two have gone. Could be as simple as a dodgy aeral lead, but they are cheap, so you swap them out easily to to if its that.

Evening all

Can anyone tell me were I can purchase a UHF/UHF Diplexer to combine Group K (CH 21 - 48) with Group B (CH 35 - 53) ??

Been searching the web for weeks now and still cant find one! Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?

Any advice much appreciated, Trying to avoid just using a splitter!

What you appear to be seeking is a UHF combiner. There are some available but make sure you get one that is matched for 75 Ohms impedence and not 50 Ohms (that is suitable for IF and not UHF TV signals).

There are a number of manufacturers offering potentially suitable combiners. Note that the best type are powered to avoid losses, especially important oif you are in a weak signal area.

Look at the blue boxes below your posting and open the one named 'digitaluk trade'. That will show the compass direction for your local/preferred .

Have the installed using that bearing and ensure it is correctly aligned and set with the polarisation correct. Note that you would be best using a log-periodic aerial for future .

Do not fall for the scam of a ' aerial' there is no such thing and is a marketing ploy to charge more for the same aerials! Depending on your exact location, you may need to avoid having large buildings between you and the transmitter, some of the tower blocks in Glasgow can be a problem.

Andy: If I may add to JB38's comment, you could try a company called DASTV in Mansfield. They have (or had) a vast range of good components such as splitters and combiners as well as log periodic aerials when last I dealt with them. However, the DASTV website which was (and possibly still is) www.dastv.co.uk now brings up WordPress Hello World (whatever that is!) However, I understand that the e-mail address info@dastv.co.uk is still valid, as is their address:

Some Free view began to "block" on fri 06-05-2016 early morning using Wolverhampton homes communal . Different channels are available at different times.
Tried using internal portable aerial which is giving similar variable results.

Current BBC1 has and pixelisation from . this is occuring on two tv's , all other programme appears normal.
My signal strength is 51% after signal boosting.
