Hi Briantist,
Location: RH1 3LP
I currently get fine Freeview SD reception from the Reigate transmitter, however having got a new TV with a Freeview HD receiver, I'm now getting frustrated with having to wait until 2012 for the Reigate HD switch to be flicked! Do you think I'd be able to pick up the Crystal Palace transmitter, which is broadcasting HD?

Hi All
Have not received any help with my query re excellent freeview but no HD channels reception on my Samsung HD LED with built in freeview.
I am in EN11 area which I presume is Crystal Palace which is broadcasting HD.
Could it be a fault with the TV which is new? Could my Virgin box create interference?
Are my wires crossed? I am female and not a techo so am a bit confused.

glenda worthy: UE40C51003 is "just HD ready", it is not listed as having DVB-T2/Freeview HD. You will need a Freeview HD box for this set.

Hi
I have a Samsung SyncMaster T260HD (Model LS267DVSUV/EN). All was fine initially but then a couple of weeks ago there was an intermittent fault where the picture is pixillated and sometimes it freezes. This seems to happen whether I am watching the TV or watching the freeview box (that I have linked to the video) through the tv. The problem usually arises when I am recording something. I live in Redhill so I assume that the aerial is directed towards Reigate.

I should add that I've lost stations too. I can't get Yesterday anymore and Channel 4 sometimes goes and is particularly prone to pixillation. I know those stations have weaker reception but they were fine before my new tv and yet now even the pre-existing freeview box is unable to get Yesterday.

David . You will not get anything from Crystal Palace at all, the view is blocked by the North Downs! If you want HD now, get Freesat and a dish.

Pah - curse those North Downs. I guess I'll have to wait, or get a very, very tall aerial! Thanks for the response, Alex.
