Can anyone help me please. I've just finished setting up my FreeviewHD and I can recive all the channels but no HD ones. On every UHF channels I get 98% Signal Strength and 100% Signal Quality, but on the UHF CH54 there is no signal at all. I am reciving from Bolton Winter Hill transmiter and I live in Blackley, near Delaunays Rd. Can someone please help me to sort it out.

Marcel: What's the model of the TV?
If, when manually tuning to C54, there is an option for mode which gives the choice of DVB-T and DVB-T2, then you need to select the latter.

It is a LG 42LW450OU, and no there is no choice of mode when doing it manually.

Marcel: I can't ascertain for certain, but I think that the most likely answer to why you can't receive HD broadcasts is because it doesn't have a DVB-T2 tuner built-in.

Marcel: Dave is right, Amazon lists it as a "42-inch Widescreen Cinema Full HD 1080p 3D 100Hz LED TV with Freeview" and LG's own site just mentions Freeview: LG THE NEXT GENERATION 3D TV - 42LW450U - 42" Full HD LED Cinema 3D TV with 400Hz (MCI) - LG Electronics UK
I'm curious as to why you thought it would have Freeview HD - were you told by a salesperson this would have Freeview HD or was it just misreading the description?

ANDY: Your TV might well be top of the range, however Sony menu's are not all the same and therefore it would be of assistance if the model number of the set was known.
